Fertility Reflexology Surrey

Pre-Conceptual Care / Fertility Reflexology

Fertility Reflexology | Maternity ReflexologyIn an ideal world, the time to prepare your body for pregnancy is 3 to 4 months before conception, this gives your body time to balance hormones and to make nutritional / lifestyle changes so that your body is in the optimum condition to achieve a healthy pregnancy.

Conception is a complex process.  A woman’s hormones must be correct for the egg to develop normally so that it can be fertilised.  Stress and hormonal disorders such as Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (P.C.O.S.), Fibroids, Endometriosis and irregular periods can affect fertility, Fertility Reflexology not only helps the body to balance hormones, it’s also an opportunity to de-stress and a time for relaxation.

Fertility reflexology and nutritional / lifestyle changes can greatly improve your fertility and the chances of getting pregnant, so during a thorough consultation, where we go through any lifestyle changes that can help your body achieve a healthy and happy baby.

Subfertility affects 1 in 6 couples in the UK.  About 15% of couples actually have more than one cause of their subfertility, so it is very important to make complete investigations from the outset rather than focusing treatment on the first cause identified.

In about 25% of couples no cause can be identified, even after complete investigation – i.e. unexplained infertility.

The main causes of subfertility are:-

  • Sperm dysfunction
  • Ovulation disorder
  • Fallopian tube damage

Fertility reflexology is by no means a cure and there are of course no guarantees, but fertility reflexology has had good results helping those with problems conceiving to go onto having healthy pregnancies by balancing the whole endocrine system and reducing stress levels, allowing deep relaxation that can ease the tension and help nature do it’s best.

Treatment Plan

I recommend initially a treatment plan of a 4 x weekly Fertility Reflexology sessions undertaken throughout the length of your cycle, especially if your cycles are irregular to help regulate them and get them into a routine.  Then we can review how you have responded to the treatments.

I always encourage the male partners to have a treatment too as he will benefit from regular reflexology too, especially if he has known issues too, such as low sperm, varicocele etc.

During your initial consultation, I would be grateful if you can bring with you copies of any test’s that both you and your partner have had i.e. blood test, semen analysis etc, as this will help me see what areas need addressing.

If you have been trying to conceive for some time and would like to contact me to discuss further in complete confidence, then please send me an email.
